Athlete Participation Grants

TennisNRG Charitable is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young tennis players who strive for excellence both on and off the court. We provide financial assistance to athletes who demonstrate strong character, academic commitment, and community involvement, not just athletic performance.

 

Our Mission

We aim to build well-rounded individuals by supporting athletes who are committed to:

  • Excelling in tennis
  • Achieving strong academic performance
  • Giving back to their communities

We believe character, leadership, and personal growth matter more than wins and rankings.

 

Who Qualifies

To be considered for a grant, applicants must:

  • Maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Participate in community service (at least 2 events per year)
  • Have clear tennis goals (college or professional aspirations)
  • Submit a personal essay
  • Provide a non-family recommendation letter

 

What We Provide

Selected athletes may receive grant funding to support:

  • Academic resources (tutoring, counseling)
  • Coaching and training
  • Travel to participate in tournaments
  • Tennis equipment
  • Sports-related healthcare

All funding is strictly used for development purposes and follows NCAA and NAIA eligibility rules.

Eligibility & Compliance

  • No pay-for-play or performance-based rewards
  • No contracts
  • Full compliance with NCAA/NAIA amateurism rules
  • All expenses must be verified and approved

How to Apply

  1. Confirm eligibility
  2. Submit email of interest to Carlos Perez with player name, age, and tennis goals/aspirations to [email protected]

 

Player Expectations

Athletes must continue to meet program standards.
Failure to do so may result in:

  • A warning and improvement plan
  • Possible removal after 6 months if standards are not met

We are not currently accepting new applicants due to funding limits.
