December 6–8, 2025 | Sanlando Park, Altamonte Springs, Florida
Vanna Turner delivered an outstanding performance at the Level 5 Open held at Sanlando Park to take the Girls 12U singles title.
Turner began her dominant run in the quarterfinals with a decisive 6-1, 6-0 victory over Lyla Senft. She controlled the match from the outset, displaying consistency and precision that left little opportunity for her opponent to gain momentum.
In the semifinals, Turner continued her strong form, defeating Paulina Camacho in commanding fashion, 6-0, 6-1. Her aggressive play and ability to dictate points proved too much once again, securing her spot in the championship match without dropping a set.
The final presented Turner with her toughest challenge of the tournament as she faced the number one seed, Melodie Geffrard. After a tightly contested opening set, Turner narrowly fell 5-7. Undeterred, she regrouped in the second set, elevating her level to claim it 6-4 and force a deciding match tiebreak.
In a thrilling finish, Turner demonstrated remarkable mental toughness and determination, edging out Geffrard 10-8 in the tiebreak to secure the championship. The hard-fought victory capped an impressive tournament run and highlighted her ability to perform under pressure against top competition.
With this title, Vanna Turner solidifies her status as a rising talent combining dominant early-round performances with a gritty comeback in the final to claim the championship.
