TennisNRG Book Program for Competitive Tennis Players
At TennisNRG Charitable, we believe developing a great tennis player means developing a great person.
The Personal Development Program (TennisNRG Book Program) is a structured, year-long learning experience designed for serious tennis players who want to grow mentally, intellectually, and as leaders.
Who It’s For
Eligible players must:
- Be ages 11–24
- Actively compete (USTA / ITF / UTR / College / ATP / WTA)
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Commit to a full year of participation

There is no cost to participate. All program expenses are covered by TennisNRG Charitable.
Program Structure
Open Enrollment
- New players may join at the start of each quarter
- Next Q2 enrollment deadline: April 1
Program Length & Certificate
- Certificate of Completion requires 10 credits
- 1 credit = 1 month / 1 book
- Late starts roll credits into the following year
- Participants are expected to commit to and complete one full year once enrolled
Repeat Participation
- Graduates may continue participating for multiple years (up to age 24)
- Returning players may choose different books within the same subject for a deeper dive.
Small Group Format
- Sessions are conducted via Zoom
- Multiple small groups are formed as enrollment grows
- Designed for high engagement and discussion
Flexibility
We understand competitive schedules are demanding.
Players may take a year (or years) off and return later. However, active participation is expected during any enrolled year.

Grant decisions are reviewed, voted on, and approved by the Board of Directors independently of Book Program participation.
