TennisNRG proudly announces the successful completion of its  2025 Personal Development Program, marking an important milestone in the organization’s mission to develop well-rounded tennis players through education, leadership, and character-building experiences.

The yearlong program challenged participating student-athletes to engage with a reading curriculum designed to strengthen both athletic mindset and life skills. Throughout 2025, players explored topics including strong habit formation, problem-solving skills, financial literacy, friendships, resilience through sport, literature, political theory, critical thinking, leadership, and an understanding of work and capitalism.

“This was our first year offering a program like this, and we are encouraged by the engagement and growth we saw,” said Carlos Perez, Executive Director of TennisNRG. “Our hope is that each participant walks away with at least a few ideas from the books that will positively shape their lives, both in tennis and in life.”

TennisNRG extends sincere congratulations to the following players who completed the 2025 program.

  • Mia Slama
  • Karma Yacavino
  • Mavrix Yacavino
  • Camilla Kostik
  • Mia Sastre
  • Nevette Turner
  • Vanna Turner
  • Jason Chan
  • Catherine Chan
  • Carlos Perez
  • Victoria Maria Leavitt

TennisNRG continues to grow and adapt as it deepens its understanding of player development and impact-driven programs.
