At the Level 4 Closed 16U event in Casselberry, Florida, held on March 1st, 2025, Emma Prose and Taisiya Sorokina faced off in the finals. Prose, the top seed, delivered an impressive performance throughout the tournament. In the Round of 16, she triumphed over Kyndall Smith with a score of 6-4, 5-7, 10-7. In the quarterfinals, she defeated Leyla Kilgour 7-6 (7-0), 1-6, 10-7. Prose then went on to dominate the semifinals, beating Ella Freedman 6-1, 6-2. In the finals, Prose secured a 6-4, 6-0 victory against Sorokina to claim the title.

Sorokina, on the other hand, also had an outstanding run to the finals. She started strong, defeating Gabrielle Alonso 6-4, 6-1 in the Round of 16. In the quarterfinals, Sorokina overcame Katie Mann with a 6-4, 6-2 score. In a hard-fought semifinal, Sorokina came from behind to defeat Isabella Porto 4-6, 6-2, 10-2.
