Their triumph over the Romanian duo of Diana Maria Mihail and Patricia Maria Tig came after a tense match that went to a matchbreaker, with the final scoreline reading 4-6, 6-2, 10-4.
Following this win, Mia’s WTA doubles ranking is expected to rise into the top 1100. The tournament was played on red clay, and it was classified as a Grade W15 event.
